Program Reviews

NSGI provides three general approaches to assisting clients with program reviews. The first is facilitation of a program review. In this option an NSGI staff member functions as the team lead for the program reviews, provides structured assessment tools, prepares the site staff to use the tools, coordinates the daily activities for the reviews, and compiles the results of the review/assessment into deliverable products and a final report for management.

The second option is team augmentation. In this option NSGI can provide subject matter or discipline experts to augment a clients staff, provide help using standard assessment tools, compile data, and support the development of the final report.

The third option is a full review/assessment. In this option NSGI will provide the team lead and all team members. The client need only provide a point of contact to arrange for site access and on site interviews. The NSGI team will develop all products and a final report for management.

Products/Deliverables from a Program Review

  • 1st – A gap analysis against standard business process steps
  • 2nd – Insights into the reason or cause of any gaps
  • 3rd – A prioritized set of recommendations to close identified gaps.
  • 4th – A final report which includes an executive summary
